There's a beautiful story behind my very Spanish name, Begoña Martínez —that's me— but some English speakers find it hard to pronounce
and spell. One day
Twitter was invented and the folks there started calling me @minibego. And it has stuck.
In a former life
I taught interpreting at University; I wrote books and taught Spanish in Greece; I owned two translation agencies (instead of one); I worked as a high-level PA and interpreter in a British company frequented by millionaires.
Still learning: ukulele, painting, calligraphy, swimming
I love learning so I'm never out of fun stuff to do. I'm learning to play the ukulele. I paint. I love calligraphy. I adore swimming.
